What’s in a Name?

The Mint Saloon, owned by J.F. “Shorty” Anderson, was notorious for having a “rooming house” built on the rear of the saloon. This rooming house was run by another infamous lady by the name of Hazel McGuire during the early 1900’s in the Red Light District of Steamboat Springs.
