What’s in a Name?

The Fussell Ranch, now the Pleasant Valley Ranch, was once known for providing a safe, warm retreat for weary travelers caught in winter snowstorms while making the journey from Oak Creek to Steamboat Springs. Though the buildings from this time still stand on the property, they are only remnants of the old ranch operation started by Dixon Fussell.
