We understand it’s tough to be without your gear, please know that we are working as quickly as we can to repair your gear. Our top priority is to provide quality repairs that we can stand behind; however, these repairs do take time.

If you would like us to repair your gear, please plan to be without it for up to four months.

While we're always happy to fix gear in our repair center, the process can take time. If your trip is within our current quoted turnaround time, we recommend using this handy guide to make quick at-home or on-trail repairs that keep you from missing that trip!

Warranty Repairs

The Big Agnes warranty covers manufacturing and material defects for the lifetime of the product. We’re unable to determine warranty coverage until we’ve had the chance to personally inspect the gear. Any warranty damage will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Big Agnes.

Non-Warranty Repairs

Well-loved gear will develop battle scars. When this happens, we will do everything in our power to refurbish and repair your gear to get you back out there.  

We can fix most common damage, like tears, punctures, worn out zipper sliders, broken poles and damaged hardware. Below you’ll find things we can typically repair, and we can give you a better estimate on costs when our Repair Technicians are able to evaluate it in the warehouse.

- Small holes, rips, and tears 

- Zipper slider replacements 

- Pole set and hardware repairs  

- Patch repairs for sleeping bags and jackets 

What We Can't Repair

Limitations & Exclusions

While we strive to repair as much as possible to keep your gear going rather
than ending up in the landfill, there are some limitations to what we can service. In certain cases, the extent of damage may fall outside of our in-house repair capabilities, or the cost of repair may exceed the value of a replacement item. When that happens, we’ll help guide you toward the best next option.


Repair Limitations

- Extensive damage 

- Repairs that would cost more than replacing the item 

- Items outside of our in-house repair capabilities 

- Severely worn, compromised, or brittle materials 

- Corrosion or extensive hardware failure 

- Services we do not offer (e.g., washing tents, waterproofing, seam sealing, full zipper replacements)
