Big Agnes is committed to sustainability.
Sustainability is something everyone is talking about these days. To us, sustainability starts with our staff and our ability to maintain our small company in a mountain town like Steamboat Springs. We make camping gear and getting that gear out there into the places we love is one of our priorities. From here, we know we are in a good place to encourage others to do the same, to pay attention to the land we call our backyard, and to apply the lessons we learn there to our business sense.

Reduce, Re-use,
Re-Routt™.
The Re-Routt™ collection was launched in 2008 to designate a number of our products that are constructed using recycled fabrics, fills and hardware and/or environmentally sensitive manufacturing practices. Look for the Re-Routt™ logo on our products. Reduce, Re-use, Re-Routt™.
We support these groups.
We also realize our impact is greater than just the decisions we are making in the design and manufacturing processes, so we’ve partnered with a number of non-profit organizations that are looking at the bigger picture. As a business and a bunch of mountain loving folk, Big Agnes is committed.
Help us protect the backcountry.
Our urge to sleep under the stars and breathe fresh mountain air is what continually drives us and keeps us motivated. In the end, the bluebird summits and nights spent listening to raging creeks or even highway noise have made the journey awesome, and truth be told, we wouldn't want it any other way.
